Panasonic has returned to the European after six year with the Panasonic Eluga, a water proof, dust proof smartphone according to the IP57 standard. The phone is really slim only 7.8 millimeter in width and having a 4.3 inch Capacitive touch screen.
When the idea of water proof comes, it certainly keeps the attention to the trade offs which are made to make it so, but there are not so much. The phone runs on android gingerbread and is planned to upgrade on ICS v4.0, which makes it to catch up with the latest smartphone range. The phone is water proof 1 meter deep in water for 30 minutes, and dust also has no way to get into the phone and all this is certified.
